Yesterday was a busy day ... travelling from Bkt Antarabangsa to Pandan Indah to KL to Jelatek and back to Bkt Antarabangsa... And all the while enjoying the travelling without the stress of being the driver yourself!
But ... it did take a long time to get anywhere. Nevertheless, it has been a very good day indeed!
- wake up... decided in the mood to go to mpaj to try settle overdue assessment rate.
- call cab...took a while.. finally got one. i went downstairs to wait as the operator asked me to.. but took the driver a while to get here.. so I went for a walk to the guard house. that was my first exercise in a few weeks...
- arrived at mpaj pandan indah smoothly (in an nicely aircond car) ... cost me RM10 (incl. a bit of tip to the nice taxi driver!)
- went to settle the overdue... long story but they need a copy of s&p but the girl there was not willing to do photocopy... mesin rosak! whatever...
- once done at mpaj.. ask the 'kaunter pertanyaan' how to catch a bus to go to KL.
- took kl rapid bus... comfortable and cost me RM1.50 (when i asked the driver how much, he went to explain that it used to be RM1.20 but just recently increased!)... not bad lah.. i still can afford that.
- went from pandan indah to pandan jaya to tmn maluri to jln connaught to penjara pudu to bkt bintang to jln raja chulan to kotaraya to bangkok bank. i could sleep soundly on the bus if i wanted to!
- get off the bus and walked to another bus stop to take the bus to ampang park. along the way bought star newspaper and a bottle of F&N orange. it was a hot day, so never mind the sugar/calories (i don't know how to count calory anyway)
- took a metrobus to ampang point..cost me RM0.90. crossed the lrt station to go to citibank ... pay credit card bill then to alliance bank to pay another credit card..then walked across the pedestrian bridge to go to megan phileo to see the lawyer... (can't believe i still have to deal with them after more than 2 years of buying the condo!)
- then walked back to ampang park to have ice jelly... yummy.. the day felt hotter than before the F&N orange drink. YUMMY! YUMMY! YUMMY!
- took the lrt to jelatek...pay via touch n go card.. not sure how much.
- waited for a taxi... driver looked decent but had reservation. drove to bkt antarabangsa.. had to give him direction. meter said RM6.50.. paid him RM7.00 (tips RM0.50) but then he told me he hasn't calibrated his meter.. it should be ... well.. he click on the meter and the number came out was RM8.00.... oh well... trust your first instinct!
- got home got headache took a nap... was in foul mood for other reason.
- nephew called .... barked at him (actually would bark at anybody that call during that time)
- got up .. hungry.. cook rice and some canned fried fish.. yucks but edible!
- do nothing after that except watching tv and surf till late!
- go to bed... feeling like i've accomplished a lot!
