Seriously, with the petrol price hike, everything will just follow like the fall of the neatly arranged domino pieces. Then before you know it, inflation hits you! You could earn a lot but where's the value? Worst still if you earn pittance!
Maybe short/medium term solution, for a start, I can get a bicycle to get me places! Not only I save on the petrol, but I'm sure the gym membership can can be left unrenewed! Hopefully though, the benefits of physical activities far outweight the bad effect of breathing city air during cycling. As with life, there's always another side of everything! Such is life....In the meantime, the weather has been hot and humid. My cat and I are practically sprawling on the marble floor when at home! It is hard to believe that there was a big flood not far away from here!
On a hot day like this, I just think about big juicy watermelom... so refreshing and so yummmy!
Long time ago in a far away land, I loved watermelon in a hot summer day. Sitting at the open patio eating big watermelon wedges and spitting the black seed back into the garden alongside somebody that I kinda had a crush on that summer! LOVELY memory!
I would love to go to the supermarket for watermelon right now, but to cycle in this hot is never a good option. Driving there just for it would be an energy wasting activity. So, watermelon will have to wait (anyway, I had a big juicy watermelon all to myself last week!). For now, I just settle for cold Yeo's Green Tea + Aloe. I just love the aloe bits in there. My young nephews introduced it to me and insisted it is the best tea drink in a can ever!!! Yes.. the wisdom of children!
