There is a candle in your heart,
ready to be kindled.
There is a void in your soul,
ready to be filled.
You fill it, don't you?

7 months on.....
It has been a while since I browse blogs, including mine.
Well... the year 2009 is almost over (time still flies even if you're not having that much fun!) and more than half a year has gone by since I last laid out my ambitious plan to clean the house.
Needless to say... it is still in pretty much the same state as before. The pots and pans are still floating around in the different parts of the kitchen cabinet, the bookcases are still empty although I bought a few more books since then, but my cats are now officially banned from entering the study room (the room is now a complete mess after their last visit). It was their playing field for a while.. that saw a lot of climbing and jumping activities involving those bookcases, not to mentioned marking of territory by Meow who is yet to be neutered (but that's actually another story).
Old rubbish out, new rubbish in...
Anyway... couple of days ago, I bought 2 new books... Three Cups of Tea and The Kite Runner (finally!).
So I guess I'll be reading more and cleaning less.
All I can say... life is too short for boring house chores!
